01 — Who we are
Who we are
RG App Studio is the trading name of Manan Bohra, sole proprietor, India. There is no company behind the name — it is one person, working under a studio name, and the person responsible for everything on this site and in these apps is the same person you reach by email.
The studio builds small, private, on-device Android apps: a workout tracker (Culmo), and a handful of others still in development. Everything is written and published by RG App Studio; apart from Google Play, which processes all purchases (see section 03), there are no agencies, resellers or affiliates authorised to sell our apps or collect money for them.
Our sole public contact — for support, billing questions, refunds and grievances alike — is manangamestudio@gmail.com. We read every message and usually reply within two business days.
These terms apply when you download, install or use any RG App Studio app, and when you use this website. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the apps. Alongside these terms, our Privacy Policy explains what each app stores and what it never sends anywhere.
02 — The apps and what they cost
The apps and what they cost
Our first app is Culmo — Gym Workout Tracker (Google Play package com.mananbohra.culmo), category Health & Fitness, Android. Its Google Play listing is at play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mananbohra.culmo. Culmo is free to download.
Culmo is free to use as a complete workout logger, permanently. Logging workouts, sets, reps, weights and body measurements, keeping your full history, building templates, and exporting your own data are all part of the free app. We do not put your existing data behind a paywall, and we do not show ads inside Culmo.
Culmo Pro is an optional paid upgrade for people who want the app to coach as well as record. It unlocks the Adaptive Coach, Programs and the Program Generator, Smart Coach insights, deep analytics, RPE autoregulation, and smart warm-ups.
Prices above are shown in US dollars. They are set in Google Play, so you are charged in your own local currency at the price Google Play lists for your country, including any taxes it applies. Google Play always shows you the exact amount before you confirm a purchase — that amount, not the figure above, is what you pay.
There is no free trial. You buy Culmo Pro directly, which means you are never charged at the end of a trial you forgot to cancel. Prices may change for future purchases; if the price of a subscription you already hold changes, Google Play notifies you in advance, and depending on the type of change you will either be asked to accept the new price or be given the chance to cancel before it takes effect. You can cancel at any time — see Cancellations below.
Apps still listed as "in development" on our site are not yet available and cost nothing, because there is nothing yet to buy.
03 — Purchases, billing and renewals
Purchases, billing and renewals
All purchases of Culmo Pro are processed by Google Play, using RevenueCat as billing infrastructure. RG App Studio never sees, handles or stores your card, UPI or other payment details — they go to Google Play, not to us.
That means your payment relationship for the transaction itself is with Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service, and any payment-method, tax or invoicing questions are handled there. What we receive from RevenueCat is an anonymous app-user identifier and whether your subscription is active — never your workout logs, body measurements, name or photo. This is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
How the subscriptions renew
- The monthly and yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Google Play charges your payment method at the start of each period and renews automatically until you cancel.
- The renewal amount is the price for your plan in your country at the time of renewal. Google Play may place an authorisation hold on your payment method shortly before a renewal — in India this can be up to five days ahead of the renewal date.
- The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase. It never renews and is never billed again. It applies to Culmo on the Google account you bought it with.
Delivery
Culmo is a digital product delivered entirely through Google Play. Nothing is shipped physically, and there is no delivery address or delivery charge. Pro features unlock on your device as soon as Google Play confirms the purchase — usually within seconds. If a purchase went through but Pro has not unlocked, open Culmo's settings and use Restore purchases; if that does not fix it, email us and we will help.
04 — Cancellations
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a Culmo Pro subscription at any time, and you cancel it in Google Play rather than inside the app — because Google Play, not us, holds the subscription.
On your Android phone
- Open the Play Store app and tap your profile icon.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select Culmo, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the instructions.
On a computer
- Go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- Click Manage next to Culmo, then Cancel subscription.
- Select a reason and click Continue.
What happens after you cancel
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end your access straight away: Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you cancel on day 3 of a monthly plan, you keep Pro until day 30; if you cancel six months into a yearly plan, you keep Pro until that year ends.
We charge no cancellation fee, and cancelling is a normal, expected thing to do — there is no retention maze, no "are you sure" gauntlet, and nothing you have to email us to unlock. The current period is not automatically refunded pro rata when you cancel; if you think it should be refunded, see the refund policy below and just ask us.
The one-time lifetime purchase is not a subscription. It never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
When Pro ends, Culmo returns to being the free logger. Your workout history is not deleted — it is on your device and stays there, and you can still log, view and export it.
If you paid through UPI AutoPay, note that a cancelled subscription may keep showing as active in your payments centre until the current billing period ends. That is Google Play's display behaviour, not a second charge.
05 — Refunds
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Because every purchase is processed by Google Play, refunds are requested and issued through Google Play — the money is returned to you by Google Play rather than paid out by us. What we decide, once Google's own window has passed, is whether the refund happens.
The short version
- Within 48 hours of any purchase — subscription or lifetime — you can request a refund yourself in Google Play, without involving us.
- After 48 hours, Google directs refund requests to the developer. That is us. Email manangamestudio@gmail.com and we will review it.
- This same policy also stands on its own page — Refund & Cancellation Policy — if you need to link straight to it.
- No cancellation fee, ever, and cancelling a subscription is always free and instant.
- We would rather refund you than keep money you feel you did not get value from.
Within 48 hours: request it yourself
Google Play's own refund window is 48 hours from purchase, and it covers subscriptions and the one-time lifetime purchase alike:
- Go to play.google.com and click your profile picture.
- Click Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history.
- Find the Culmo order and click Report a problem.
- Select the option that describes your situation, complete the form and note that you would like a refund, then click Submit.
You do not need our permission for this, and you do not need to tell us first.
After 48 hours: write to us
After 48 hours Google Play routes refund requests to the developer, so the decision comes to us. Email manangamestudio@gmail.com with your Google Play order number and a line about what went wrong. We usually reply within two business days, and we will issue a refund through Google Play wherever the request is reasonable — for example:
- a purchase you did not intend to make, or one made on your account by someone else in your household;
- a duplicate charge, or being charged twice for the same thing;
- a renewal you did not realise was coming;
- a Pro feature that does not work on your device and that we cannot fix for you.
What we can and cannot promise
We want to be straight about the limits. Refunds are issued through Google Play and the money is returned by Google, not paid out by us, so we cannot control how quickly it reaches you — but the decision on a post-48-hour request is ours to make, and we make it. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Google also limits repeat refunds of the same product.
Timeline. We usually review a refund request within two business days of receiving it. Once a refund is approved, Google Play returns the money to your original payment method — typically 1–3 business days for UPI, 3–5 business days for credit and debit cards (occasionally up to 10, depending on your issuer), and 1 business day for Google Play balance.
If a purchase is refunded, the Pro access it paid for ends — a refunded lifetime unlock stops being a lifetime unlock. Either way, your workout history is untouched: it lives on your device and is never held hostage to a billing decision.
Renewals already taken for periods you actually used are not refunded automatically. But ask us anyway if something went wrong. We are one person and we read the emails; we would rather refund you than keep money you feel you did not get value from.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable Indian consumer law.
Questions about a specific charge: manangamestudio@gmail.com — include the Google Play order number so we can find it. Last updated 21 July 2026.
06 — Using the apps
Using the apps
When you install one of our apps, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you control, for as long as these terms are respected. You do not own the app itself; you own everything you create with it — your workouts, measurements, notes and exports are yours, and you can take them with you at any time.
There is not much we need to ask of you in return, but there are a few things:
- Don't try to break the paywall. No cracking, patching, reverse-engineering or faking purchase receipts to unlock Pro without paying for it. The free logger is genuinely free and complete — you do not have to pay to use Culmo, so please don't steal the part you would have to.
- Don't redistribute the app or upload modified copies of it to other stores under our name or any other.
- Don't use our name or branding to make it look as though we endorse or published something we did not.
- Use it lawfully. Don't use our apps to do anything illegal, or to harm someone else.
You are responsible for the device you run the app on, and for keeping your own backups of anything you would be upset to lose. Because Culmo stores your data on your device rather than on our servers, we hold no copy of it — if you lose your phone or wipe the app without exporting, we cannot restore your history for you. Culmo's export and backup features exist precisely for this.
If you seriously and repeatedly break these terms, the licence to use the app ends. In practice this means we may report a distribution or fraud issue to Google Play; we cannot and do not reach into your device.
07 — Health & fitness disclaimer
Health & fitness disclaimer
Culmo is a fitness logging and training tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Culmo's coaching features — the Adaptive Coach, Programs, the Program Generator, RPE autoregulation, warm-up suggestions, one-rep-max estimates and insights — are calculations based on the numbers you type in. They are informed suggestions, not instructions from a doctor or a physiotherapist, and they cannot see your form, your joints, your sleep, your medication or your history. An estimated one-rep max is an estimate; a suggested load is a suggestion.
Please talk to a qualified professional — a doctor, physiotherapist or a coach who can watch you lift — before starting a new training programme, changing one substantially, or returning to training after injury, illness, surgery or pregnancy, and especially if you have any cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic or musculoskeletal condition.
Strength training carries real risk of injury. You lift at your own risk and remain responsible for your own decisions in the gym. Use your judgement, respect what your body tells you on the day, and stop if something hurts — a number on a screen is never a reason to keep going. If you feel chest pain, faintness, severe shortness of breath or any other worrying symptom during exercise, stop and seek medical help immediately.
Culmo does not diagnose anything, does not detect medical conditions, and should never be used in place of professional medical care.
08 — Availability and changes
Availability and changes
The apps are provided as they are. We build them carefully and we use them ourselves, but we cannot promise that they are free of bugs, that every calculation suits every body, or that they will work perfectly on every Android device and version ever made.
Because Culmo runs on your device and does not depend on our servers, there is no service to go down and no uptime figure to quote — the app keeps working offline, in a gym basement, with the network off. What does depend on third parties is Google Play: purchases, restores and refunds need Play to be reachable.
Features change over time. We may add, alter or retire features as the apps develop, including changing what sits inside Culmo Pro. If a change would remove something significant that you are currently paying for, we will say so in the release notes, and you can cancel your subscription (see above) and ask us about a refund. We may also stop publishing an app entirely; if that happens, a copy you have already installed keeps working for as long as your device supports it, and we will not push a remote kill switch.
Updates are delivered through Google Play. Keeping the app updated is the best way to have it work as described here.
09 — Liability
Liability
This part is usually written in shouting capitals. We would rather write it plainly.
RG App Studio is one person making inexpensive apps. We stand behind our work, we fix what we break, and we refund where a refund is fair — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy above. What we cannot do is take on unlimited responsibility for everything that might follow from using a workout logger — injuries in the gym, training decisions you make, data you did not back up, or losses that flow indirectly from a bug.
So, to the extent the law allows: our total liability to you for anything connected with an app or this website is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that app in the twelve months before the problem arose — which, for the free app, is nothing. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data you had not exported, or loss of profits.
Two honest exceptions, because no contract should be able to remove them: nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that applicable Indian law does not permit us to exclude. And nothing here takes away consumer rights you have by law.
The health disclaimer above matters here too: decisions about your training and your body are yours, taken with professional advice where appropriate.
10 — Governing law
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of our apps. If you are a consumer in another country, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live.
Before anything becomes a dispute, please just email us. Almost everything — a charge you did not expect, a feature that does not work, a refund — is resolved in a couple of emails, and we would much rather resolve it that way.
11 — Changes to these terms
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change, and the new version will be published here at this same address. We do not quietly rewrite history — the version in force is the one on this page.
Continuing to use an app after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change materially affects something you are paying for, you can cancel your subscription at any time (see Cancellations) and write to us about a refund.
12 — Contact
